It’s the entire fault of
Bernie’s kids, have you heard? A wild mob of them in Nevada went on a rampage
during the Nevada Democrat Convention and hurt “Democracy” as we know it.
To hear the horrific
description of events, they nearly killed it dead.
They wrote nasty social
messages to a VIP!
They did some other bad stuff,
unlike anything Hillary Clinton’s robots would do. Voting and delegate stuff,
trying to steal the limelight—and perhaps an election.
They’re as bad as pro athletes
going off the handle on Twitter!
Millennials and other Sanders’
supporters are suddenly the degenerate generation if you hear it told by the
Democratic National Committee and the lackluster scribes working for the
mainstream media.
Sounds like a night of
cocktails and toadying around got out of hand.
It is both intriguing and
disgusting the way Clintonites and the Madam’s corporate-media backers attack
Sanders’ campaign and youthful supporters while repeatedly letting her off the
hook for her crookedness, the likes of which we have not seen since the
infamous “Robber
Barons” came on the American scene after the Civil War.
Well, crooks love other crooks
they say.
What is wrong with this
picture? It’s a sad commentary on where we are—and a “fuck you” in the face of
reality.
Let’s measure this overblown
Nevada riot of rudeness in coffee
spoons, shall we? Forget Clinton and Bernie for a second, though they are
both major shareholders in the madness; let’s consider the way things are and
have been for too long.
Consider our perpetual “surgical
strikes” in Afghanistan and the Middle East, wherein levels of “acceptable
collateral damage” are deemed so by yet another actual mob, the Pentagon’s
brass in collusion with the kingpins of Empire, from the CEOs all the way down
to the POTUS and the lowliest congressman.
We all understand how the crime
business works—thank you Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola.
Is this long-standing cliché
of U.S. foreign policy, perpetual war— wrought with minor handwringing and
major moral turpitude—worse than sending a vile text message to the enemy?
Not in Nevada evidently, where
the bad kids took over and embarrassed Bernie for a few minutes and created a
desert-blaze of indignity.
They left a nation reeling in
faux shock
and awe at the bad manners exhibited by a handful of likely highly-indebted
and soon-to-be underemployed college students (also known as anarchist
sympathizers apparently).
Why the anger, liberals ask of
them in a swirl of pixie dust? Hillary is winning and you kids should be happy
with that fact, and not engaging in crazy moments of subterfuge. We’re gonna
beat down The Donald like no ex-wife or girlfriend of his ever could.
The schussing of the
anti-Clintonites is growing like a loud wind o’er the land.
It just blows liberals’ minds
that the ungrateful little bastards are angry about anything. So angry they’ll
text mad obscenities into cyberspace, and target an old operative at that!
All of this reconnoitering of
the internal enemy is beginning to sound like Spiro Agnew coming back from the
dead. We are now dealing with “pusillanimous pussyfooters” of the highest
order.
But let’s do another
measurement related to our international gangsters, our internalized,
otherworldly mobs since Reagan. If you’re cool with any of them you’re a
potential hardcore Clintonite.
If any tragedy of the U.S.’s
making is ever acknowledged by patriotic American consumers these days, it is
always understood to be the mistake of faulty intelligence backed by a
misguided missile(s). Human error, not policy is to blame, while Nevada’s
horrible hooligans are merely misguided brats who haven’t killed any children
that we know of yet, but are probably dangerous because they noticed a flaw in
America’s electoral system. They want the free stuff!
You would think, from
listening to the hardcore Clinonites and the DNC, that creepiness is part of
the DNA of Nevada’s Bernie kids; much more so than the generals and Congress,
the usual suspects of creepiness.
The kids, who the powerful
assume to be from the cyberunderworld unless they are their own, have already
seen the handwriting on the old-fashioned chalkboard, however.
Young people are pissed off
for a lot of reasons, and it’s not just because they’re all misguided
“ideologues” or stupidly violent like Trump’s supporters.
They’re not blind to what is
going on.
Personally, I’m glad to see
their fire and strength of conviction, as naive or ignorant as some people may
think it is; it beats the hell out of the banking cartel as well as the beautiful
fence at the border.
Do we really want to measure
and compare any more the damage done by variant mobs? The mob of Bernie’s kids
versus the mob system they’ve come to loathe?
Consider the Clinton camp
leading up to the Iraq War. They were loud and clear back then in support of
another fool: “Well, I guess it’s just something that has to be done. Hussein
has WMD!”
But we knew all along that was
a sideshow, didn’t we? Wasn’t it always about the money, the contracts, the
oil, the bases, and the U.S hegemony over everything?
Today the Democrats are the
pro-war mob, with their full idiocy on display, throwing rocks from above, just
like the Republicans.
We all know what the kids are
really pissed about. It’s the system, stupid. So the Dems should quit with
their weak denials and their own very personal kind of subterfuge.
Okay, fat chance. But it would
behoove all to start to think.
Start with the obvious theft
of the nation’s wealth by the oligarchs. Think about the young as they
contemplate their bleak future, even if you are rich and nearly dead yourself
and won’t have to deal with climate change or the growing mobs of internally
displaced refugees lost in the new American wilderness for very much longer.
Do we have problems
unacknowledged by any politician in the national arena today?
Of course we do Rosy and Sam.
Nobody really knows what the
future holds, but by the same token smart people know we cannot ignore the
crimes of Hillary’s new robber baron capos forever—not even in our poetic
imaginations, or wherever in hell it is people find their smug bliss—at the
expense of our burgeoning underclasses.
Most Americans don’t pay
attention to history. They protect what shabby material they have, and more
importantly, their own self-aggrandizement.
Ironically, the rude kids in
Nevada may be an exception to this general truth.

Pay attention to history kids. Great post.
