"Hegel: The Essential Writings" and "Philosophy in Our Time" are two new volumes of "Philosophical Encounters series to be released by Rouzbehan Publications.

IBNA: Davar Motevalli, production and distribution manager of Rouzbehan Publications said publication of these volumes have been approved by culture ministry and they are now under publication.

"Hegel: The Essential Writings" is penned by 'Georg Wilhelm Hegel' and converted into Persian by Mohammad-Mahdi Ardebili; the other volume is Alain Badiou and Slavoj Zizek's "Philosophy in Our Time" that is converted into Persian by Foad Habibi and Kamal Khaleqpanah, he added.

According to Motevalli, so far six volumes of the Philosophical Encounters series have been released to the market including " Francis Bacon: The Logic of Sensation", "The Architecture of Language", "Communal Subjectivity" and "Language and Nature". The books have been authored by eminent figures such as Julia Kristeva, Noam Chomsky, Gilles Deleuze, and Jacques Derrida.

According to Motevalli, Rouzbehan is one of the oldest Iranian publishers that focus on the subjects of philosophy and sociology.

The Philosophical Encounter series has other books lined up for translation in this field.
