First, corporate Democrat Henry Cuellar took more than $100,000 from fossil fuel PACs to help defend against his progressive challenger, Jessica Cisnersos.
Then, he went on TV to attack the Green New Deal, parroting Republican talking points along the way.
Now, he’s spending that corporate PAC money on ads claiming that he’s the true climate candidate in the race.

Henry Cuellar is the top recipient of oil and gas money this cycle. His claims are brazenly false, but expose the vulnerability of our electoral system — he can use special interest money to protect himself from popular backlash.
