Earlier this week, former
Congressman and convicted felon Michael Grimm, who is running for his old seat,
had this to say about Trump’s policy of separating children from their parents
at the border:
“I can take you to any nursery
and you can hear the exact same things as a mother leaves to go to work.”
Besides the fact that a mother
gets to come home from work, it’s hard to get more tone deaf. But Grimm knew
what he was doing — he said it to appeal to a racist base that will help him
win an election.
That means the least we can do
is use that to help make sure he loses.
Support progressive veteran
and Democratic candidate Max Rose, who is running against Grimm in this very
winnable seat.
Michael Grimm is a disgrace.
